Our Beliefs

The Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, preserved pure, accurate and without error in the King James Bible. (2 Timothy 3:16, Psalm 12:6-7, 1 Peter 1:23-25, Proverbs 21:1, Isaiah 55:11) That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7, Colossians 2:9, John 1:1, Isaiah 9:6) In the deity of Jesus; His virgin birth; His sinless life;  His miracles; In redemption through His shed blood; His glorious bodily resurrection and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father. (John 1:1-5, 14; I Timothy 3:16; John 10:30) That man was created by God in His image and is a sinner by nature and choice, sinful and lost, and has within himself no possible means of salvation without Christ.  (Genesis 1:26-27; 3:1-6, 15; Romans 3:10-12, 22-23; Ephesians 2:8-9) In an eternal hell for the damned and an eternal heaven for the saved. (Matthew 13:49-50, Matthew 25:46, Luke 16:19-31, Revelation 14:11, Revelation 20:14) That man can only be saved by grace through faith alone in Christ alone. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Revelation 1:5, Hebrews 9:12, Hebrews 9:23-25; 1 Peter 1:3-5, Colossians 3:3-4, Ephesians 1:13-14, 1 Corinthians 3:13-15) In personal separation from sin and worldliness. (2 Corinthians 6:17, 1 Peter 2:11, 1 John 2:15-16, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Ephesians 2:2) In the imminent return of Christ; First the Rapture of His Church and then His second coming in Glory when He will establish His glorious and literal kingdom on earth for a thousand years. (1Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 4:1-2, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52) All born-again believers should be active members of a local, independent, visible, New Testament, Bible-believing Church. Denominations and Para-church "ministries" do not honor the Lord or His words. (Hebrews 10:25, Acts 2:47, Acts 9:31, Acts 11:25) Believers should be immersed in water as soon as possible after being saved.  Such believer’s baptism is an ordinance but is not a means of grace.  In other words, the baptismal waters do not wash one sin away.  Baptism is a form of the new convert identifying himself with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  The other ordinance of the local church is the Lord’s Supper.  This is also a memorial, and not a means of grace.  (Acts 8:36-37, 1 Peter 3:21, 1 Corinthians 11:24-26) The miracle signs belong primarily to Israel dispensationally speaking. The modern “charismatic” and “apostolic” movements often counterfeit these signs in the flesh.  Other times the signs are fraudulent, or the direct work of devils. (1 Corinthians 1:22, Psalm 74:9, John 20:30-31, 2 Thessalonians 2:7-11) Man’s depraved, sinful nature and naturally dead spirit do not hinder him from being a free moral agent who is capable of exercising the free will God gives him.  God expects and allows him to choose to respond to the admonitions of the Gospel.  Man, therefore, is free to reject God’s grace in providing a free salvation.  Further, Jesus Christ died for “all” without exception.  (1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9, Acts 17:30, 1 John 2:2, Acts 7:51)
